I'm so shocked this place is still running with all the complaints. The staff are extremely nasty and refused for regular clean-up. No wonder this place was completely empty with no patients.
Dr. Cosman is fine, but the staff are poor. My son had wisdom teeth extracted and was told by reception that they would call in the prescription. When pharmacy said they had not received call, my wife called Family Health Dental and was told they were calling it in "right now." An hour later the pharmacy still had not received a call. We called back Family Dental and got a recording that the office was closed (though according to the hours on the message they should have been open for another 20 minutes). I left a message to have someone call me back. That was fifteen minutes ago. According to my watch, their office should still be open. I sure hope my son gets his prescription!
I waited 2 months for a regular cleaning appointment from this place, during my visit they only took a few pictures of my mouth then told me I had to make ANOTHER appointment for a CLEANING! They are just money hungry and do not care about you. I had to leave work early to make this appointment and it was a complete waste of my time. But wait it gets better..my appointment wasn't for another month! I called my insurance immediately and made an appointment for another dental office.
The receptionists out front are absolute garbage. They're rude and refuse to help give or explain anything even though it's one of the very few things these people actually have to do. When I was seemingly annoyed, they then told me that the office manager (the staff, not the dentists) decided to drop me because of "personal conflict." The dentists as well as the dental hygienists are good which is a shame. But don't take my word for it, just read all the other gleaming reviews specifically about the staff out front...
Horrible! It doesn't even deserve one rating! The dentists are FAIRLY OK if you just want a cleaning otherwise find another dentist cause they hit you up for every little thing and you always need another appointment!!
Here's the worst part...the staff!! They are miserable, typical Staten Island bimbos that have no professional manners at all what so ever!!! They just work there for pocket change so they can tan and be nasty!! I've never seen such ignorance in my life! Oh and by the way, they were rude to my mom because she didn't speak English and I had to translate Greek! Take my word for it don't go here, try Oakwood Dental Arts...nicer staff, modern clean office and good dentists!
