The store owner was extremely inappropriate to my friend and I, insistently badgering us about our intimate lives and sexual preferences. This was not typical adult store banter by a long shot, he repeatedly asked us how we "knew we weren't attracted to him", and asked me why I didn't encourage my friend to "try something new (he gestured to himself while saying this) sometime, to see if it would change her mind". This is just a taste of the nonsense he spouted, and to top it off: both my friend and I are in our early twenties, and the store owner is at least 45.
