And then sadly what is typed into the first post op report filed from their office during my visit? They said they were surprised to find the trochlea and cartilage damage. Had they communicated up front with me that I had all these other issues going on I NEVER would have taken the course of action that I did.

But that's not the problem here folks. Both the Trochlea Dysplasia and the Grade 3 Cartilage Damage were mentioned SEVERAL TIMES in my medical report!!! The 3rd party imaging place where I had my MRI's and X-Rays? They mentioned this in their reports that were sent to Dr/Movie Producer Armin Tehrany. The reports that were filed in his office pre surgery? They also mention the Grade 3 Cartilage Damage and the Trochlea Dysplasia!!!
I made an appointment for my son because he has problems with he knee.had all set up for the appt. Got there 1/2 early to fill out the paperwork when gave myself son's name they said they no information about the appt I showed them the email I had on my phone with the confirmation and time then they tell my the don't accept myself insurance they said I should have gotten an email telling me that.not very professional or nice about it never apologized about it blamed the answering service for the problem would never recommend this office to anyone
I had surgery in September 2016 for a small meniscus tear in my left knee.
I was suppose to follow my instinct , when I saw the CC blank authorization forum and look for a different Doctor, but a relative of mine who knew Dr Tehrany, vouched for him, tho she told me from the beginning that knee is not his specialty ..
At no point I felt positive about the practice of Dr Tehrany, tho I did not find a different Doctor to replace but the first day , while I was filling out the admission paperwork , they had a blank credit card authorization form tucked in the bottom, counting that you will sign all forums, without reading, because it's in the size of a book...after this incident the writing was on the walls, 8 weeks later I still have the same pain in my knees, Dr Tehrany referred me to a different doctor , who refuse to schedule an appointment to see me because Dr Tehrany's office don't want to bother by faxing my medical records. At this point I gave up, and have to live with the pain and start the process all over again with a different doctor.
I wish I could give zero stars people. Like I said BEWARE.
By far they are the most understanding, personable and amazing Dr's they did surgery on my shoulder which required a lot of work it has been little over 3 months and I am very pleased. The most important things I really aprreciate is I never felt rushed not in the room not into going for surgery they do what best for you at your pace other Dr's sometimes push you into a direction your not ready for they do not they are in it for what's best for you and their staff is always friendly and extremely helpful always a pleasant atmosphere

Dr Tehrany & Dr Stephen Bouskila are amazing over the years I have seen quite a few orthopedics due to a lot of joint issues
PRE SURGERY: I was told that this was my only problem. Just a simple meniscus fix and I would be back to normal activities (hiking, cycling) within a few months. They even said the cycling would be a great exercise for my knee once I got myself healthy.
POST SURGERY: I am told that they were surprised to find so many other issues when they scoped my knee. Including grade 3 cartilage damage and trochlea dysplasia...I was pretty bummed out to say the least to get this news.
